What a pain this page is. It is redundant. I fix problems with the site then I have to update this page. Well I'm putting an end to that. It is still interesting to read for some historical aspects so I'll leave it in place without contributing to it. Dec 26, 2006
Updated the FAQ. Cleaned up a few dead links. Dec 22, 2003
Gee, I really not good at keeping up with this page. I really have to say that I have lost my interest in caring about it. I do a lot of things on the site, I just don't list them here. I'm still having a blast on the Apple platform. I'm sorry, I was just never inspired to buy an Wintel machine before. Apple is a fun platform. Aug 15, 2003
Added the HP logo and cleaned up a few pages Dec 11, 2001.
I disabled the eCommerce ability on the toner page. I realized that we are a repair facility and selling consumables at this time just isn't fitting into our daily routine. July 31, 2001
I cleaned up the HTML header and meta information. I added a feedback form to the contact area. I am trying to get up to snuff on correct HTML code. More work to go Sept 2,2000
I removed the frames from this site. Now that we are an eCommerce site. I wanted to get as compatible as I could get with all platforms, devices (WebTV) and browser versions. Aug 24,2000
I changed the buttons and page headers to slim down their size for quicker loading. I cleaned up the Etc page and renamed it Links. I fixed a few broken links. Aug. 13,2000
I added a cart system for purchasing toner cartridges. What a great product. It is called Americart. I found them through my web host www.pair.com. Now we sell toner carts through our site. It's all automated. The order starts on our toner page, the cart exists on Americarts' secure server. It appears as a frame on our site. When all is done, the end user has an email confirming the order. We have an email with order and credit card info. Great shopping cart system all done with HTML.August 9,2000
I added a few tips on some of the newer printers and changed a bit of advertising. Adobe came out with an upgrade (4.1) and now are advertising 5.0. I just finished a class on Macintosh Troubleshooting WOW. What a great class. April 23,2000
I removed the button fun below. Internet Explorer was complaining about the buttons. Adobe is aware of the problem and will someday come out with an upgrade that will fix it. August 1999.
I added some fun stuff to the menu buttons. They change color when your pointer is over them. I just finished a one day class on Adobe Go Live and have a lot of ideas floating around in my mind for the site. July 28, 1999
I created a way for non frame capable browses to see the site without frames. I am very impressed with Adobe Go Live software. I'm actually having fun! April 12, 1999
I have purchased Adobe Go Live and I must say I am impressed. I added frames to the site. If there are any problems, please e-mail me. April 5, 1999
I now have an iMac and have been learning to use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Pagemill to develop this web site. I am very impressed with the Apple OS and the Adobe software. This site is now created with the Apple platform (Bye bye Microsoft). December 27,1998
Dropped the laser printer tech discussion area. I would love to get this up and running but, I am tired of fighting with Microsoft Frontpage. I can see why Bill Gates was hit in the face with a pie. I placed an animated gif on the front page of the site to show that we are now taking plastic April 7, 1998
Added a guest book link. April 5, 1998
Added a small page to announce companies and businesses that we don't do business with. April 2,1998
I decided to try a different layout one that would fit in with the concept of this site being an extension of my yellow page add. Still having a bear of a time getting my private discussion group installed with limited access. I'll have to keep working on that a bit. Jan 31, 1998
I upgraded to Front Page 98 a while back, and my server (pair.com) just recently upgraded the server extensions. This was due to problems with security. I appreciate their actions in not upgrading until Microsoft fixed the problem. This presented a delay in my use of fp98's new features. I'd like to say it was an effortless upgrade.... I have tried out some of the new features and added new buttons at the top. They are pretty slick. I hope to get enough of a handle on this fp98 to finally get the discussion group up and running. I will not be the first person on my block to upgrade to FP99 when (if) it comes out. :) Jan 25, 1998
I have been having a tough time getting the discussion area up and running. I started working on it right after I installed Microsoft Front Page 98 Beta. I now have the final FP98 product, but the FP98 server extensions are not out yet. This is a bit of software that resides on my server and allows me to do some nifty things. The first version of the server extensions had some problems and a fix is forthcoming from Microsoft. This was promised on December 15. Soon. Dec 23,1997
I deleted the feedback page. It wasn't doing much and the same can be accomplished via email. Sept 23,1997
I also added a few items to the Etc. page. A great search engine called "Dogpile". You can search the Web, Newsgroups,FTP or newswires right from our site. Sept 18,1997
I added a couple of links to the FAQ page. One is to the Chip Merchant page. It offers a good database of memory upgrades. The other link is to Windrivers.com page. This is a great resource for windows drivers of all types. Sept 19,1997
I added another page called Etc. This will have some resources on it. Haven't really decided everything for this page. Probably will have some of the links from our last home page on it. June 2, 1997
I added a laser printer FAQ. This is a list of things that can be done to work around a specific problem. This will come in handy at 0200 am and a deadline exists. June 1, 1997
